Description: 

The exhibition Jewels and Fineries will let you discover the history of Trois-Rivières through artifacts recovered during digs on the Place d’Armes site from 2006 to 2008. These objects reflect various social roles and the cultural diversity of Trois-Rivières over the years. Earrings, pendants, buttons and rings are used to explore themes on relationships between the sexes, from flirtation to courtship. This exhibition is produced by students in the history and civilization program at the Collège Laflèche de Trois-Rivières.
