Centre d'initiation au patrimoine - La Grande Ferme
Le Centre d’initiation au patrimoine – La Grande Ferme is located on a historic site and offers interpretative activities, including the exhibition “Le lieu-dit La Grande Ferme,” to introduce visitors to the historic and archaeological heritage of the Saint-Joachim—Cap-Tourmente region. The following activity is presented in collaboration with Artefactuel, an archaeologists’ co-operative dedicated to promoting and presenting archaeology through research-related, educational and outreach activities.

Through archaeology, discover the important role played by La Grande Ferme as the region’s “breadbasket” throughout the centuries, from the time of the Ferme Saint-Charles to the present. This activity includes a meeting with archaeologists, as well as a tour of the site and a permanent exhibit. Bring along a good appetite!
